Samu Tamás Gergő

Former Member of Parliament of Hungary, political scientist professional, graduated from University of Pecs. As MP of National Assembly he has been full member of Committee on European Affairs and member of Committee on Foreign Affairs as well he served as Vice President of IPU Hungary-Georgia Friendship Group.

Tamas represented Hungary as delegate to the European Committee of the Regions in Brussels and as Vice President of the Governance Committee of the Congress of the Council of Europe in Strasbourg. Currently he works as non-attached elected municipality representative in Hungary and special consultant in international relations. He gained remarkable observer-related experience in many countries, more recently in Moldova, Ukraine and Central African Republic. In his capacity as international coordinator of GIEM, Tamas continues to hone his professional and personal skills, never tiring of daily encouragement in the pursuit of excellence.
